First individual to be elected to a four year term

Volunteered with the Delaware Regiment

Treasurer of New Castle County 1807

During the War of 1812 he served as major
in the Delaware Militia

Born: November 11, 1758   Died: July 11, 1836

(5th Governor to die in Office)
